What is an Independent Physician Practice?
With input provided by the Committee on Independent Physician Practice, TMA’s definition is as follows: “An independent physician practice is comprised of one or more physicians with decision-making authority and responsibility for the viability of the medical practice in which they own a controlling interest.”
