    • TMA Foundation Grant Opportunity
      Each year The TMA Foundation (TMAF) accepts applications from county medical societies, alliance or medical student chapters for community health improvement programs. Society and alliance chapters may apply for up to $7,500 in matching funds from the TMAF Medical Community Grant Program and medical student chapters may apply for up to $3,000 in matching funds from the TMAF Medical Student Community Leadership Grants Program.
    • TMLT Cuts Premiums Again
      For the ninth consecutive year since tort reform, the Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT) is cutting its liability insurance premiums. This time, the TMLT Board of Governors approved an average 6.9-percent cut in liability premiums and an 18.5-percent dividend for renewing policyholders.
