TMA House of Delegates: Order of Business 2007

 

Reports and resolutions dealing with socioeconomic, public health, science, medical education, and TMA financial and organizational matters that are important to physicians and patients will be considered by the TMA House of Delegates and its reference committees during TexMed 2007 at the Hyatt Regency in Dallas, April 26-27.

The house will convene at 8 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, and after conducting its regular business, recess for meetings of four reference committees - Financial and Organizational Affairs, Public Health, Science and Education, and Socioeconomics - on Level 3 of the convention center in Exhibit Hall F. Reference committees will present their reports and recommendations to the full house when it reconvenes at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 27. Elections also will be held on Friday.

On Friday at 11 a.m., the Distinguished Service Award, TMA's highest honor, will be presented to D. Clifford Burross, MD.

Plan to attend your caucus meetings on Thursday and those scheduled on Friday morning.
