The Texas Medical Association Foundation (TMAF) invites proposals from “eligible applicants” for a grant to fully or partially fund a health improvement program that focuses on one of TMA’s current public health or science priority areas.
The program works with physicians, medical students, and TMA Alliance members to improve vaccination rates in Texas through education and hands-on immunization clinics.Be Wise — Immunize is made possible through a grant from the TMA Foundation.
A properly fitting helmet can prevent almost all head injuries — up to 85 percent — the most common cause of disability or death in a bicycle crash. Since 1994, TMA has given away more than 325,000 helmets to Texas children.
