Physicians, medical students, and residents can soon submit their medical research for display at TexMed 2027’s CME-eligible poster session – a returning fan favorite showcasing emerging health care ideas and literature.
Each year, the TexMed poster session allows Texas Medical Association members to present their medical findings – printed on portrait- or landscape-oriented posters and displayed during the conference – to an audience of medical leaders and peers. Submissions for next year’s poster session will open on the event’s webpage in July.
All entries will be reviewed by the TexMed Education Committee, whose physician members evaluate posters and CME submissions for content, quality, and relevance.
To submit research for consideration, each individual or group must:
- Submit only one entry; and
- Upload the poster as a PDF formatted to 24"x36".
If a poster is accepted, the association will send a follow-up email with detailed completion instructions. The submission team must ensure that at least one member is registered for TexMed and present for the poster session.
Final entries will be presented in the Expo Hall during next year’s conference, with one chosen to win a “People’s Choice” award by attendees. Voting will take place during the conference, and the winner will be recognized that weekend.
