Students, Residents, Fellows: Apply for Special Interest Section Positions

Applications are due Saturday, April 15, for several leadership positions within the Medical Student Section (TMA-MSS) or Resident and Fellow Section (TMA-RFS)

For MSS Executive Council positions, MSS board, council, and committee (BCC) appointments, and Leadership Honor Society:  

  • Apply to run for a MSS executive council position: chair; vice chair; reporter; TMA delegate co-chair (two positions); AMA delegate co-chair (two positions). The executive council directs activities for the Medical Student Section. To apply, submit an application with a headshot, two-page CV, and a brief letter of interest.   
  • Apply for a student representative position on a TMA BCC. If appointed, you are required to attend all regular meetings of the BCC.   
  • Apply for the TMA-MSS Leadership Honor Society, which recognizes current or rising fourth year medical students who have actively participated in Texas organized medicine.  

For the Resident and Fellow Section, apply for a position on a TMA board, council, and committee (BCC). If appointed, you are required to attend all regular meetings of the BCC.
