
Although the funding package that reopened the government extends Medicare telehealth flexibilities eliminating geographic restrictions for nonbehavioral/mental health care until Jan. 30, physicians should take notice of another series of telehealth waivers set to expire at the end of this year.
The following waivers enacted during the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE) are currently expected to expire Dec. 31 unless Congress acts:
