If you’re a Texas Medical Association special interest section member and haven’t done so already, please check your email inbox for the section survey. This quick, five-minute survey will help determine each section’s priorities in the coming year.

New executive council members for Young Physician, LGBTQ Health

The Young Physician Section has elected new representatives to the Executive Council for the 2022-23 term:

  • Emma L. Dishner, MD, chair-elect;
  • Joy Lo Chen, MD, TMA delegate;
  • Naveen Tyagi, MD, TMA delegate; and
  • Zahra P. Ali, MD, American Medical Association delegate.

Also, the LGBTQ Health Section elected the following members to the Executive Council for the 2022-23 term:

  • Rosemary Eseh-Logue, MD, TMA delegate; and
  • Zachary Speciale, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, medical student representative.

The 2022 Annual Meeting of the AMA House of Delegates will be June 10-15 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Register for the individual section meetings, view the agenda, and find additional details online.
