TMA Foundation’s 29th gala is being planned to occur safely on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 6:30 to 10:30 pm in conjunction with TexMed 2022, so don’t wait to purchase your individual ticket or VIP ticket that gives you greater recognition. The gala theme is Crossroads of Culture and celebrates Houston as the most diverse city in the U.S. while recognizing how TMAF-funded initiatives address the urgent health needs of an increasingly diverse Texas population. Tables for individuals start at $2,500. Nearly 20 corporate and clinic sponsors , including top sponsor H-E-B, have already signed on as sponsors.

Imagine catching up with colleagues and unwinding at a reception with cocktails, a silent auction, and a seated dinner while raising funds to create a Healthy Now and a Healthy Future for more Texans. The gala also includes an exciting live auction, live music, and a big dance floor!

Gala co-chairs are Clifford Moy, MD, and his wife, Diane; and Carla Ortique, MD, and her husband, the Honorable Morris Overstreet, all of Houston. “Few state medical associations have a philanthropic foundation that provides so many ways for members and their families to improve the health of their community,” said TMAF treasurer Dr. Moy and Mrs. Moy. “We’re extremely proud to serve as TMAF gala co-chairs,” said TMAF Vice President Dr. Ortique and Judge Overstreet, “and help raise funds that enable even more funding for programs that expand access to care for all Texans and address health disparities.”

Help build the future of medicine with scholarships, increase access to care for uninsured and underinsured Texans, help young children learn about good health through reading and much more!
