Need PPE but have trouble meeting vendor minimums? Have you had difficulty accessing the state supply?

Look no further. You can use the Texas Medical Association’s freshly updated Texas-based PPE vendor guide, with information to help locate what you need from vendors that can supply small- to medium-sized practices with little or no minimum order quantities. Order what and how much you need of gloves, gowns, masks, shields, surface disinfectants, hand sanitizers, tests, and swab kits.

Keep in mind that equipment availability and pricing may vary week to week.

TMA’s PPE vendor webpage also provides resources for guidance on quality control, which is the responsibility of the manufacturer.

And don’t forget, you can use TMA’s Infection Control and Personal Protective Equipment COVID-19 Resources page, which includes information on how to access the TMA PPE Portal when you’ve exhausted your regular channels for PPE or other emergency supplies.

For the latest on COVID-19, visit TMA’s COVID-19 Resources page, which is continually updated.
