History was made on April 17. This is when, for the first time, the annual gala was held in Corpus Christi, and a new record was set for the amount raised in sponsorships. The enthusiasm and incredible participation of TMA and TMA Alliance members were key in making “Beach Party” among the most successful events in the Foundation's history.
The gala brought together 475 guests, including physicians, alliance members, community leaders, supporters, and friends of medicine for an evening dedicated to advancing physician-led health initiatives across Texas. The event raised more than $500,000.
TMA and TMA Alliance leaders Dr. Jacob Moore and Sunshine Moore, Dr. Jerry and Keely Hunsaker, and Drs. Mary Dale Peterson and Rafael Coutin served as gala co-chairs. Together, they welcomed colleagues from across Texas and helped introduce many visitors to the medical community in Corpus Christi.
