What could a TMA Membership mean for you, your practice, and your patients?
TMA took a new approach to this year’s regular legislative session: Identify Texas medicine’s top 10 priorities and zero in on them. Physicians’ focused grassroots advocacy got undeniable results in protecting patient care. Their hard work shut down scope of practice expansions and bad health plan practices, boosted GME funding and targeted Medicaid payments, and improved women’s health care coverage and network adequacy protections – among other victories. “It was a very, very good session,” said Tilden Childs, MD, chair of TMA’s Council on Legislation.
