Welcome to the website for the Burnet-Lampasas-Llano County Medical Society! We are comprised of physician members, including family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, along with specialties such as oncology and orthopedic surgery. We work in local hospitals, including those in Llano and Burnet. We are committed to providing health care for the residents of the Hill Country and Lakes Area. As a County Medical Society, we seek to provide continuing medical education for our physicians, with lectures from local experts in such areas as public health and ethics. Your local doctors are proud to announce that we established, and plan to maintain, an annual scholarship for local area high school seniors who plan to pursue a career in health care. In 2011, the County Medical Society and Seton Highland Lakes co-sponsored a bike helmet giveaway program for youth in the area. We welcome your comments and questions.
