Celebrate Diversity and Catch Up With Old Friends at TMAF’s Annual Gala

The Texas Medical Association Foundation’s annual gala is an event that Houston anesthesiologist Shannon B. Hancher-Hodges, MD, looks forward to with anticipation each year.

“It is a great time to network, all while catching up with old friends and meeting new ones,” said Dr. Hancher-Hodges. “Dinner, drinks, and of course, dancing, all make for the perfect evening to support the foundation’s important initiatives.”

This year, TMAF’s annual gala, Crossroads of Culture, will celebrate the diversity Houstonians enjoy every day. It’s scheduled for Friday, April 29, from 6:30 to 10:30 pm during TexMed 2022 in Houston.

TMAF’s gala is a great way to support TMA’s philanthropic arm and the critically needed public health and prevention programs it funds, including Vaccines Defend What Matters. Unwind after a long day by visiting with colleagues over dinner, great music, drinks, and both live and silent auctions.

Also join gala co-chairs Clifford Moy, MD, and his wife, Diane; and Carla Ortique, MD, and her husband, Judge Morris Overstreet, all of Houston, by purchasing your ticket or table today. Individual tickets are $275 each, and VIP tickets are $325 each. Tables for individuals start at $2,500. Don’t wait! Ticket prices increase $25 starting April 16.

For more information or to purchase tickets or a sponsorship, visit the gala website, or contact TMAF at (800) 880-1330, ext. 1664, or (512) 370-1664.
