More than ever, medicine needs its front line to promote the safety, efficacy, and importance of vaccines.
You can help with a grant from the Texas Medical Association Foundation as part of Vaccines Defend What Matters, TMA’s multimedia public health education and advocacy effort to over come vaccine hesitancy and increase vaccination rates in Texas.
Applications are open until Feb. 15 for Local Impact Grants of up to $3,500 to fund vaccination activities, community outreach events, and vaccine education. Applicants who focus on Texas counties with low immunization rates and high rates of conscientious exemptions will receive priority funding. Applicants will be notified of their status by March 28.
All TMA member physicians, county medical societies, TMA Alliance chapters, and medical student chapters may apply. Visit TMAF’s Grant and Award Portal and log in or create an account to apply. Email us for more information.
