Tips and Strategies for Managing Remote Staff

Many practices have staff working remotely, whether by choice because of multiple locations, or recently to prevent the spread of COVID-19. 

Although working remotely presents challenges for employees and employers alike – such as separation from others, and communication and technological issues – there are also benefits, like schedule flexibility and increased productivity. 

If your practice is considering letting staff work remotely – or if it already has employees who do – the Texas Medical Association has created a course that provides tips and strategies to successfully manage those employees. 

How to Manage Staff Who Work Remotely, available as a podcast or webinar, is hosted by Heather Bettridge, associate vice president of TMA Practice Management Services.
