Are You Ready For Arbitration On Out-Of-Network Billing Disputes?

BCBSTX_Preauth

It’s been six months since Texas’ new balance billing law has been in effect.

The law allows certain out-of-network physicians to request arbitration when dissatisfied with a state-regulated health plan’s initial payment, and it prohibits balance billing in most cases.

But what trends have emerged during the new law’s first six months, and how should physicians navigate arbitration when settling billing disputes?

Find answers to those questions and more in a free, live webinar on the Texas arbitration process on Thursday, July 16, at 6 pm (CT). The webinar, which will be held via Zoom, is presented by the Texas Medical Association and the Texas Department of Insurance.

Space is limited, so please register for the webinar in advance. Your confirmation email will include information about how to join the meeting.
