This interactive session will include tips and tricks for developing compelling resolutions, followed by an opportunity to workshop your ideas alongside your peers and House leaders.
Attendees will learn to explain policy making best practices including:
- define a resolution;
- evaluate a resolution (weak or strong);
- discuss what items are part of TMA's scope of work;
- discuss what happens to a resolution once it goes to the House of Delegates; and
- apply best practices to develop a clear, well-organized, and actionable policy proposal.
