If you received Provider Relief Fund (PRF) distributions greater than $10,000 from July 1, 2020, to Dec. 31, 2020, this Thursday, March 31, is your deadline to report how you used those funds.
Thursday at 10:59 pm CT is the close of this second period of PRF reporting, according to the program’s requirements and auditing website. The deadline to use funds for the second payment period of PRF was Dec. 31, 2021.
Only recipients of more than $10,000 in aggregated PRF payments during a payment period must report, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Future deadlines for reporting periods will be as follows:
- Period 3 (payment received between Jan. 1, 2021, and June 30, 2021): Must report between July 1, 2022, and Sept. 30, 2022
- Period 4 (payment received between July 1, 2021, and Dec. 31, 2021): Must report between Jan. 1, 2023, and March 31, 2023
HHS recommends that recipients register in the PRF portal before their reporting period begins.
