Virtual Summit: A Closer Look at Primary Care

This year’s virtual version of the Texas Primary Care Consortium (TPCC) Summit – a learning lab, collaborative gathering, and catalyst for primary care transformation in Texas – kicks off this Thursday, Oct. 14, and continues on Oct. 15.

Participants from diverse backgrounds across the public health and health care spectrum will gather virtually to gain a more comprehensive understanding of today’s health care challenges, best practices, lessons learned, and available resources. Speakers during the two-day event will include:

  • John T. Carlo, MD, CEO of Prism Health North Texas, chair of the Texas Medical Association’s Council on Legislation
  • Bechara Choucair, MD, vaccinations coordinator for the White House COVID-19 Response Team
  • Michael Darrouzet, TMA executive vice president and CEO
  • Ann Greiner, president and CEO of the Primary Care Collaborative
  • Tony B. Iton, MD, senior vice president of The California Endowment
