How is Your Relationship With Your Hospital?

NT_residencies

The Texas Medical Association wants to know how your hospital relationships affect you and your practice.

For example, in 2018, 38% of Texas physicians said they witnessed colleagues losing employment, contracts, or hospital privileges after raising concerns about quality, according to the TMA’s biennial Survey of Texas Physicians. Meanwhile, 48% expressed concern they might be subject to similar consequences for speaking out.

TMA is conducting the 2020 survey, and we’d appreciate your input this month on how hospital relationships affect you.

Since 1990, TMA has asked Texas physicians for their thoughts on health care practice, the economic realities of practicing medicine in the state, and what issues they believe lawmakers should take on.

The aim of the biennial Survey of Texas Physicians is to identify emerging issues, track the impact of practice and economic changes, assess physician priorities, and develop data to support TMA’s advocacy efforts.

Check your email and please answer this month’s survey to let us know how TMA can best advocate for you.
