2.16 people

If you’re looking for even more of an incentive to attend the Texas Medical Association’s Fall Conference at the end of the month, try this: You’ll be eligible to claim Maintenance of Certification (MOC) credit in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s MOC program.

All you have to do is attend the Fall Conference Dawn Duster, 7:30 to 8:30 am, Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa, between Austin and Bastrop.

The Dawn Duster will feature a lawyer and a physician discussing the impact of venture capitalists on the health care marketplace. Come hear about the types of private equity being invested in physician practices and the associated legal issues that must be addressed and overcome if you’re considering bringing in investors.

But wait, there’s more.

By attending the Dawn Duster and General Session, you are eligible to claim 3.25 AMA PRA Cat. 1TM and 3.25 ethic/professional responsibility credits.

Find more information on the conference, including a list of meetings and discussions, on the TMA website
