TMA offers numerous scholarships to Texas medical students and encourages students to apply.
Current scholarships include the Texas Medical Association Minority Scholarship, Texas Medical Association 50-Year Club Scholarship, Harris County Medical Society Alliance Scholarship, Krishna Memorial Scholarship, Michael O'Malley, MD Memorial Scholarship, American Muslim Women Physicians Association (AMWPA) Merit Award, AAMAAL Scholarship - Muslim Women Inspiring Hope, and others.
Fifteen minority students who entered Texas medical schools this fall are benefiting from a $10,000 scholarship from TMA. The students were selected for their academic achievement, commitment to community service, and desire to care for Texas’ increasingly diverse population.

The TMA Foundation offers additional scholarships through its Family of Funds established in 2017.
TMAF funds and endowments support the charitable health improvement and education goals of TMA and TMAA members, and the related efforts of TMA county medical societies as well as TMA alliance and medical student chapters.
