Operations Assessment

With the many challenges that face today's medical practices, business operations remain at the core of a practice's ability to be successful and profitable.

A TMA consultant will perform a comprehensive diagnostic review of business operations including revenue cycle, financial systems, and human resources processes and procedures. Our objective is to identify opportunities for process improvement and revenue enhancement. 

The assessment will include the following components:

  • Accounts receivable analysis,
  • Review of billing/collections processes,
  • Patient flow analysis,
  • Internal controls review,
  • Managed care process analysis,
  • Review of medical records systems,
  • Review of practice management software,
  • Overhead analysis,
  • Human resources/Personnel issues, and
  • Clinical staff operations.

A brief summary of findings will be presented to the physician(s) upon completion of the on-site assessment.  A written report is provided with all analysis and specific recommendations within 30 days.
