PQRS: Last Day to Preview Your PQRS Performance Scores Before They Are Reported Publicly on Physician Compare
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will soon publicly report performance scores on the Physician Compare website at www.medicare.gov/physiciancompare. These scores are based on quality data submitted to the 2016 Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) program year. CMS is currently providing physicians and group practices with an opportunity to preview performance scores as they will appear on Physician Compare. So act soon, as the preview period ends Dec 1, 2017.
Data available for preview includes:
• 2016 PQRS measures
• 2016 Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for PQRS measures
• 2016 non-PQRS Qualified Clinical Data Registries (QCDR) measures
• 2015 clinician utilization data
According to CMS, the preview period allows you to see your data as they will appear on the Physician Compare website before it is reported publicly. Preview your data as early as possible to make sure it is correct.
