Prepare for TexMed 2024, the Texas Medical Association’s largest annual meeting, by RSVPing for section activities by April 26 and reviewing resolutions for sections to discuss.
During section business meetings, members will set section priorities for the coming year, welcome the new executive council, and share opinions with section delegates before the House of Delegates convenes on May 4. If there is a particular resolution you would like your section to discuss, please submit it online. Locations and times for section meetings are also available online.
Before TexMed, the Women Physicians Section will host a virtual caucus meeting this Sunday, April 28, at 5 pm CT. RSVP to receive the Zoom login for the event.
And at TexMed, besides section business meetings, take advantage of these opportunities to network:
- All-Conference Mixer: Thursday, May 2, 8-11 pm. Meet and mingle with colleagues and TMA leaders from around the state and solve a mystery.
- Sections’ Connections in the Expo Hall: Friday and Saturday, May 3 and 4, during lunch (refer to the program for specific timing). Speak with section leaders about the goals, priorities, and activities of each section.
