The Texas Medical Association elected Galveston medical student Grayson Jackson to a one-year term as the TMA Medical Student Section (MSS) representative to the TMA Board of Trustees. He joined the board in May 2025.
He is pursuing his medical degree at the UTMB John Sealy School of Medicine at Galveston. He is also pursuing a PhD in bioethics and health humanities at the UTMB School of Public and Population Health.
Mr. Jackson previously served two years as an alternate delegate in the Texas Delegation to the American Medical Association. Before that, he served as TMA Delegate co-chair for the MSS, as UTMB’s chapter delegate to the TMA House of Delegates, and as the MSS alternate representative on TMA’s Committee on Infectious Diseases.
A TMA member since 2020, Mr. Jackson is also a member of the Galveston County Medical Society.
