In May 2024 TMA elected Pruthali Kulkarni, DO, a Temple fellow physician specializing in hematology and oncology, to the Board of Trustees. She was elected to a one-year term as the board’s TMA Resident and Fellow Section representative. Residents and fellows are physicians in training.
Dr. Kulkarni chaired the Resident and Fellow section and served as the section’s representative on TMA’s Council on Legislation and Committee on Cancer.
She also has represented medical students and residents as a delegate in the TMA House of Delegates policymaking body.
She also is a member of the TMA Foundation Board of Trustees, serving the association’s philanthropic arm.
She is completing her fellowship at Baylor Scott & White in Temple.
