265.027 Costs to Update Health Information Technology Products to Address Issues of Sex and Gender: The Texas Medical Association believes that neither physicians nor patients should incur additional costs when electronic health records (EHRs) or health information technology (HIT) systems are updated to reflect the latest in regulatory requirements or evidence-based medical care in the area of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning health.
