Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment in Texas: The Texas Medical Association will work with other health care and community organizations to promote adoption of a statewide medical orders for scope of treatment (MOST) document, thus better promoting patient-centered care and enhancing communication about patient wishes between sites of care. TMA will encourage the development of education programs for physicians and patients about the appropriate use of MOST (Amended Res. 419-A-12; reaffirmed Res. 411-A-14; originally numbered 200.049; amended CHSO Rep. 2-A-15).
