55.010Comprehensive School Health Education: The Texas Medical Association voted to work with the Texas Pediatric Society on a plan modeled after the New Mexico Education Agency where school districts must meet goals regarding comprehensive school health education. TMA and TPS agreed to be involved in curriculum development and the school system and communities could be responsible for communicating the information (Committee on School Health and Children with Disabilities, p 136, I-93; deleted CM-CAH Rep. 2-A-03).
