As legislators get ready to formulate the 2028-29 budget, TMA and the Texas Pediatric Society submitted testimony citing the importance of Medicaid, CHIP, and SNAP in attempts to increase access to health care statewide. They also advocated funding women’s health and behavioral health initiatives.
