    • TMA Foundation Grant Deadlines Coming
      The TMA Foundation (TMAF) is accepting applications for its 2013-14 Medical Community Grants and Medical Student Leadership Grants programs. TMA county medical societies and alliance and medical student chapters may apply for support for short-term, high-impact health improvement initiatives.
    • TMLT Cuts Premiums Again
      For the ninth consecutive year since tort reform, the Texas Medical Liability Trust (TMLT) is cutting its liability insurance premiums. This time, the TMLT Board of Governors approved an average 6.9-percent cut in liability premiums and an 18.5-percent dividend for renewing policyholders.
    • Be Wise — Immunize
      This immunization mission aims to increase physician and patient awareness of the importance for immunizations throughout all stages of life by increasing accessibility to low cost and free vaccinations for children and adults. TMA Alliance members, with funding and support materials from the TMA Foundation and TMA, have helped deliver more than 200,000 immunizations to thousands of Texans since the program's inception.  These volunteers are currently in a community in Texas - maybe yours - helping improve the rate of, and access to, immunizations.

      TMA Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization committed to connecting the charitable concerns of physicians with the people of Texas. TMAF funded initiatives enable physicians and their families to give back to their community and take a visible leadership role toward improving the health of all Texans.
