Prepare Your Practice for Electronic Medical Records

October seminar

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was signed into law on Feb. 17, 2009. The health information technology component of the bill, the HITECH Act, paves the way for you to adopt health information technology in your practice. If you are a Medicare provider, you could earn a bonus of up to $44,000 for “meaningful use” of electronic medical records (EMRs) through 2015. Medicaid physicians can earn up to $63,750.

This seminar will help you to learn where to go and what to look for in an EMR, discover how to make your EMR work for you, find out how to qualify for ARRA incentives, compare top-used EMR vendors in Texas, and choose an EMR that can improve quality of care, office efficiency, and patient satisfaction in your practice.
