TMA Foundation is accepting applications to its 2016-2017 Medical Community Grants and Medical Student Leadership Grants programs. Eligible applicants are TMA county medical societies and alliance and medical student chapters for community health improvement programs. This is the tenth year the John P. McGovern Foundation has challenged TMAF with a grant for its Star Campaign for all matching donations up to $10,000.

In 2016, TMAF will grant a record $589,000 to health improvement, science and quality-of-care programs across the state. Chances are your community is on this map, which shows where TMAF-funded programs have been carried out over the last five years.
Thanks to an unprecedented $3.2M donation from Dr. Roberto J. and Agniela (Annie) M. Bayardo to the TMA Foundation, hundreds of aspiring physicians will receive a TMA scholarship and be named a “Bayardo Scholar.” Their gift establishes a trust fund benefiting medical student recipients of TMA’s Minority Scholarship Program.
