TMA Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) organization committed to connecting the charitable concerns of physicians with the people of Texas.
Two North Texas health entities have won the 2022 Texas Medical Association Foundation (TMAF) John P. McGovern Champion of Health Award. Project Access Tarrant County received the Top Award, and the Texas Health Physicians Group Virtual Visits Initiative received the Secondary Award. TMAF presented the awards Friday at TexMed, TMA’s annual conference, held this year in Houston.
The 29th annual gala Crossroads of Culture that occurred during 2022 TexMed in Houston successfully raised an estimated total of more than $400,000 to support TMA’s philanthropic arm and the critically needed public health and prevention programs it funds.
The STAR Campaign is the ideal way support the greatest health needs across Texas and TMA Foundation grant-making operations, and to help us break our all-time record in total raised at a gala. This challenge grant of $10,000 to TMA Foundation is offered by the John P. McGovern Foundation for the 16th year in a row! Our STAR Campaign aims to raise at least $10,000 to win this generous challenge grant.
