CME Needs Assessment Request Form from the TMA Knowledge Center

The ACCME has issued updated criteria that require linking continuing medical education curriculum to an identified practice gap.  A professional practice gap is the difference between actual performance or patient outcomes and ideal performance or outcomes. This gap can be related to clinical, practice management, or professional responsiblility topics.  Activities must be designed for the target audience and must specifically address the identified knowledge gap. Changes in knowledge/practice as a result of the CME should be identified.

The TMA Knowledge Center is offering bibliography services to aid in meeting the AACME needs assessment requirements.  These services are provided for free for county medical society sponsored CME activities.  Specialty society and other CME sponsors may purchase bibliography services for $15.
