Dallas Doctor Wins TMA’s Highest Honor for 2015 - 07/06/2016

Donald Wayne Seldin, MD, a Dallas physician and chair emeritus of internal medicine at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School (UT-Southwestern), has been honored with the 2015 Texas Medical Association (TMA) Distinguished Service Award. He received TMA’s top honor today during TexMed,the association’s annual conferencein Austin. TMA’s Board of Councilors ethics body selected him for the award.

The Texas Medical Association (TMA) named six Texas science teachers winners of the 2015 TMA Ernest and Sarah Butler Awards for Excellence in Science Teaching. Three first-place prizes were awarded today at TexMed, the association’s annual conference, in Austin. Three second-place awards will be presented in upcoming local ceremonies.
