All Texas Medical Association sections will meet during TMA’s 2022 Winter Conference, scheduled for Jan. 28-29, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency in Austin. The conference will be a hybrid event with in-person and virtual meetings. Scheduled section meetings are:
- LGBTQ Health Section, Jan. 28 from 10 to 11 am
- Resident and Fellow Section, Jan. 28 from 7:30 to 9 pm
- Young Physician Section, Jan. 28 from 8 to 9 pm
- International Medical Graduate Section, Jan. 29 from 7 to 8:30 am
- Medical Student Section, Jan. 29 from noon to 3 pm
- Women Physicians Section, Jan. 29 from 1:45 to 3 pm
Join us on Friday night, Jan. 28, for an all-sections mixer to network and get to know your TMA colleagues.
The following day, the Medical Student Section will conduct leadership training for new chapter officers. All other section members are invited to attend an interactive educational program.
Special notice for Young Physician Section members
The Young Physician Section will hold a pre-Winter Conference meeting via Zoom on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 7 to 8 pm. The agenda will include discussion of potential section endorsement of section board representative candidates and section resolution ideas for the 2022 House of Delegates. Register to attend.
