Use Social Media to Remind Your Patients to Be Safe This Summer

A quick check of the weather will tell you summer is here.

But a quick check of the Texas Department of State Health Services website will tell you that COVID-19 is still here, too.

It’s no surprise many of your patients will want to get outside these days – you might want to as well – but it’s still important they continue to protect themselves from COVID-19.

That’s why the Texas Medical Association created a series of graphics you can share on your social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The summer-themed graphics include simple reminders for people to wear a mask, wash hands frequently, and to practice social distancing as much as possible.

The graphics can be downloaded from the TMA COVID-19 Social Media Toolkit, which includes graphics, public service announcements, and other resources you can share.

And, of course, TMA’s COVID-19 Resource Center is regularly updated with information, news, and the latest TMA materials to help you, your staff, and your patients better understand how to prevent and treat COVID-19.
