TMA Maternal Health Congress Highlights
By Steve Levine

More than 60 of Texas' top experts in maternal, perinatal, and infant health gathered Saturday for TMA's Maternal Health Congress. The goal was to review the multiple factors behind Texas' unacceptably high rates of maternal morbidity and mortality and to identify policy and legislative options for the next session of the Texas Legislature, which begins in January 2019.

Texas Medicine Today will provide full coverage of the event later this week. In the meantime, here are some highlights from social media - and an outstanding story from KUT radio's Ashley Lopez.
