Survey: Health Officials Plan for Pediatric COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

As approval for a pediatric version of the COVID-19 vaccine gets underway, the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) is planning ahead for its distribution and needs your feedback by 5 pm CT this Wednesday, Oct. 20

As of this writing, the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5-11 years was still awaiting authorization by the Food and Drug Administration and recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Take this DSHS survey to give state health officials an estimate of the patient population to whom you may administer the pediatric version of the COVID-19 vaccine pending federal approval.

If you are not already a COVID-19 vaccine provider, DSHS still encourages you to complete the survey and enroll via the Immunization Program Portal.

Please complete the survey by 5 pm CT this Wednesday, Oct. 20.
