Now that COVID-19 vaccines are more readily available across the state, you might have questions about coding, payment rates, reporting requirements, what supplies the government will provide for free, and vaccine safety and efficacy.

Mark your calendar for the next edition of the Texas Medical Association’s “Ask the Expert” virtual learning series, Operational and Billing Aspects of COVID-19 Vaccines, set for noon (CT) Tuesday, April 27.

The free event, which will be held via Zoom, will feature Meredith Vinez, TMA health policy analyst; and Carra Benson, TMA manager of practice management and reimbursement services.

  • Necessary administration codes;
  • Medicare payment rate as of March 15; and
  • Information straight from the health plans.
