Now that COVID-19 vaccines are more readily available across the state, you might have questions about coding, payment rates, reporting requirements, what supplies the government will provide for free, and vaccine safety and efficacy.
Mark your calendar for the next edition of the Texas Medical Association’s “Ask the Expert” virtual learning series, Operational and Billing Aspects of COVID-19 Vaccines, set for noon (CT) Tuesday, April 27.
The free event, which will be held via Zoom, will feature Meredith Vinez, TMA health policy analyst; and Carra Benson, TMA manager of practice management and reimbursement services.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Specific vaccine codes;
- Necessary administration codes;
- Medicare payment rate as of March 15; and
- Information straight from the health plans.
Join an interactive question-and-answer session with our experts following the presentation. You also can submit questions ahead of time via email.
The session, which is open to all TMA member physicians and their staff, has been accredited for 0.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
The “Ask the Expert” virtual series gives TMA members direct access to professional experts who can answer questions on legal, practice management, advocacy, and regulatory topics. Upcoming sessions include:
