Help TMA Fight For Telemedicine Payment Parity

AMA_RefCom_C_Report

Telemedicine use has vastly increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, aided by temporary rules requiring insurers to pay for virtual visits at the same rate as an in-person visit and the need for patients to continue to safely see physicians.

Throughout the pandemic, the Texas Medical Association has pushed for those rules to be made permanent after the COVID-19 public health emergency ends. TMA also has made telemedicine payment parity one of its top legislative priorities for the 2021 legislative session.

Share your practice's experience using telemedicine via a brief survey.

Through the survey, TMA hopes to understand the quality of care patients are receiving through telemedicine, what percentage of your patients use telemedicine, how your practice uses telemedicine, and any challenges your practice has faced.

Find more information about telemedicine in Texas on TMA’s telemedicine webpage.
