The Texas Primary Care Consortium is looking to you to make its upcoming annual summit more in line with your experience with practice transformation. Here’s your chance to lead a breakout session.

The consortium, of which the Texas Medical Association is a member, is seeking proposals for breakout sessions during its annual summit June 4 and 5 at the Sheraton Austin Hotel at the Capitol. The theme of the summit is “Primary Care Transformation: Value Beyond Revenue.”

“While there is no 'one-size-fits-all' answer for the complex problems of our health care system, the summit provides a platform to identify, examine, and pursue shared solutions to common issues experienced across sectors,” the consortium said in an announcement.

The consortium is interested in offering workshops related to:

  • Practice advancements;
  • The business of health;
  • Primary care and social factors; and
  • Innovation and emerging ideas.

The application deadline is Tuesday, Feb. 25.

You can find more information about the consortium, the annual summit, and how to apply on the consortium’s website.
