The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) will decommission the YourTexasBenefitsCard.com website and the Medicaid eligibility verification Interactive Voice Response system at 7 pm (Central) on Friday.

After that, physicians and other health care providers must use the Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership’s (TMHP’s) TexMedConnect Provider Portal to view eligibility verifications, HHSC said in a statement.

“Providers should use the site’s Blue Button feature on the Health Summary page to download their Medicaid clients’ health information before Dec. 14, 2018,” the announcement said.

If you do not have a TexMedConnect account, you can learn how to set one up in the TMHP Portal Security Provider Training Manual.

YourTexasBenefitsCard.com was a central hub that aggregated Medicaid data from disparate sources for managed care and fee-for-service plans.
