By David Doolittle

Join your colleagues in Austin and enjoy all of the International Medical Graduate (IMG) Section events at TMA Winter Conference, Jan. 24-25 at the Hyatt Regency, Austin.

The conference provides an opportunity for physicians to conduct TMA business, earn continuing medical education credits, and network with peers.

The IMG Section will kick off the conference with a mixer from 7 to 8 pm Friday, Jan. 24. The section’s business meeting will be held from 7 to 8:30 am Saturday, Jan. 25.

The General Session will include panel discussions on Texas’ influence on national health care policy, how to use Texas’ new prescription monitoring program (known as PMP Aware) to communicate better with patients, and climate change.

Visit the Winter Conference webpage for more information on the conference, including a full schedule.

You can register for the conference online until Jan. 17, or you can register on site. Attendance is free to TMA members.
