Then ask a TMA librarian for help! As a TMA member, you don't need to spend countless hours researching a patient's diagnosis. Let the TMA Knowledge Center do it for you for free or very little cost.
Among the services is free access to remote databases with electronic journals and textbooks, such as PubMed/Medline, Academic Search Premier, Cochrane Controlled Trials, MD Consult, or StatRef; a print journal and textbook collection; and e-mail or RSS alerts on topics of interest.
Literature searches and bibliographies are available for $15, and articles not in the TMA collection may be ordered through interlibrary loan at $10 per article.
For more information or to request our services, e-mail TMA librarian Barbara Tims, or talk to her in person by calling (800) 880-7955 or (512) 370-1548. You can also fax her at (512) 370-1634.
