National Drug Code Requirement on Medicaid Claims

As of Jan. 1, federal law requires physician Medicaid claims for outpatient physician-administered drugs to include the drug's corresponding National Drug Code (NDC). This is to help the federal government claim additional supplemental rebate dollars from drug manufacturers.
