College Station Physician Renamed to TMA Ethics Board

Alisa M. Berger, MD, a urologist from College Station in practice for 16 years, was confirmed as a councilor on the Texas Medical Association (TMA) Board of Councilors, the organization’s ethical policymaking body. The TMA House of Delegates confirmed her for the role today during TexMed, TMA’s annual conference, held in Houston this year. Previously a vice councilor, Dr. Berger assumed a vacant council position in fall 2021. She also chairs the statewide board.

Dr. Berger is a member of the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.

 

TMA is the largest state medical society in the nation, representing more than 56,000 physician and medical student members. It is located in Austin and has 110 component county medical societies around the state. TMA’s key objective since 1853 is to improve the health of all Texans.
