Midland Physician Renamed to TMA Ethics Board

James W. Huston, MD, a Midland internal medicine specialist in practice for 23 years, was reconfirmed to serve a second three-year term as a vice councilor on the Texas Medical Association (TMA) Board of Councilors, the organization’s ethical policymaking body. The appointment was announced today during TexMed, TMA’s annual conference, held virtually this year.

Dr. Huston represents District 2 in West Texas. He is a member and past president of the Midland County Medical Society.

TMA is the largest state medical society in the nation, representing more than 55,000 physician and medical student members. It is located in Austin and has 110 component county medical societies around the state. TMA's key objective since 1853 is to improve the health of all Texans.
